Oyez Review is seeking submissions for Issue 47. The theme of the issue is "Time," pursuing our goal to maintain the history of Oyez, while looking toward the future.  

Submissions will be open from February 1, 2020 to March 4, 2020.

Oyez Review accepts previously unpublished submissions of fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry, as well as visual imagery. There are no restrictions on style, theme, or subject matter. If you are working in with multiple genres, simply select the category your piece most closely resembles. Please only submit once in each category. 

The journal seeks First North American Serial Rights on all literary submissions, in addition to the requisite digital rights to distribute each issue of the journal as an e-book. Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but you must notify us immediately if they are accepted elsewhere. (You will be able to re-publish work with acknowledgement.)

For Art Submissions: We feature comics and visual artists throughout the issue. We can consider art in color for the cover, as well as black & white work for the interior. Please send us a thoughtful sampling of up to 5 high-resolution images. We cannot consider work less than 300 dpi. To submit, please send your work to us at oyezreview[at]gmail[dot]com.

Accepted pieces will receive two contributor copies of the printed issue. Writers can expect a response from us on or before March 23, 2020.
